Connect Stripe for paid tickets
Set up payments when you are ready to charge for tickets.
Free events never need Stripe. You can prepare a paid event as a draft while payment setup is in progress.
Gather's application fee is 13%. Under Tickets → Ticket options, you can absorb it or pass it to buyers, and add a named organizer fee. Buyers see the total before paying.
- Open Manage, then Venues and payments.
- Choose Individual or Business and select Connect Stripe.
- Complete Stripe's setup and wait for payments to be ready before publishing paid tickets.
