Connect Stripe for paid tickets

Stripe processes card payments. Gather's application fee is 13%. Co-owners can absorb it or add it to the buyer's total, and can configure a named organizer fee. Buyers review the full total before paying.

A paid event is any published night with a visible, on-sale type that costs more than $0. Until Stripe payouts are active, that night cannot sell cards — and you cannot publish it that way.

Do this

1. Open Venues.
2. Choose Individual or Business.
3. Tap Connect Stripe and finish the hosted form.
4. Wait until the card says Stripe is ready for payouts.

If Stripe later stops being ready, paid sales stop immediately. Free types keep working. Draft paid events can wait until you finish onboarding.
