Ticket types, comps, and sale windows

Each type has a price, a cap, and optional on-sale dates.

Types are how you split the room: GA, guest list, early bird, comps. Hidden types stay off the public page so staff can issue them.

Uncheck On sale to stop selling that type now. Set a stop-selling date if it should die at a clock time.

Do this

Open the event → Ticket types → New ticket type.
Set price 0 for free, or a dollar amount if Stripe is ready.
Leave quantity blank for no per-type cap. The event capacity is still the hard stop.
Use Complimentary tickets to send codes. Use Record tickets for walk-ups.

Promo codes live on the same event page. They can make a paid type free. A 100% code still issues instantly and does not need Stripe.
